Channel by channel repair and refurbishment restores all channel functions and can be done on the bench with our SSL Repair and Recalibration jig. To ensure accurate and musical console function one generally brings the master section up to spec at the same time. This requires exclusive access to the console for actual diagnosis and repair and recalibration.

SSL Routing Card

When routing switches start to fail the best practice is to replace them all at once. We begin by replacing the circuit boards with new cards.  Next, all the connector pins are transferred from the old card to the new card. Then new switches, LEDs and resistors are soldered in place.

Dynaudio BM-6A Recap

This pair happened to have gone in different directions, one with too much bass and the other missing bottom end. These are self-powered speakers so when the drivers passed audio, the components were found to be at fault. Replacing their power supply caps and audio capacitors brought them back up to spec.
